An Introduction

Greetings, if indeed someone can greet another through such a medium. This will be my attempt to keep track of my exploits in the tabletop gaming world and I wanted a centralised place to show others what I have done, rather than doing the same via the many differing and great forums out there.

A little about myself firstly. I started, as I am sure most people started, by witnessing a game of Warhammer 40,000 2nd edition been played at my school. The imagry and modelling have stayed with me these many years and I still relish the time I have doing this great hobby. Warhammer 40,000 was my staple until 3rd edition came out. I then tried out Warhammer fantasy and found it to my liking. I regualry cross between the two systems and had even embarked into trying other game systems such as the old Warzone (which is now in resurgeance) and Bushido, but I also seem to come back to these GW games.

Of late I have been quite ennamoured with the 'oldhammer' scene and blogs, and it has been delightful to look on those old musty days with nostalgia. So much so, that I now trawl ebay looking for that nice rare lead gem from 1985!

Still, I have been painting models for awhile, and slowly believe my models may be passable one day. Currently I mainly focus on my Imperial Fists and ork Freebooterz for Warhammer 40k, and Darl Elves, old school Dwarfs and some new incoming Warrioros of Chaos for Warhammer Fantasy. I look forward to updating this blog with my latest projects, and leave you with the last models I have completed.

Cheers!
Brother Syth

  1. As a general suggestion for your blog, you may want to add the "Followers" widget to your blog panels, so that people can get up-to-date with your latest posts. You can find it by going onto your blog Overview -> Layout (left hand-side menu) -> Add a Gadget (wherever you want to add it, just make sure it's visible) -> More Gadgets (on the left) -> Followers (towards the bottom, click on the "+" icon to add it to your blog) -> Done!

Now, going back to your post, welcome to Blogger and I'm also glad to see that you've started your own blog! Loving the Dwarves and I look forward to your future updates :)

    All the best,

    Luke

    1. Thanks Luke!

Will do that tonight. I've been looking at gaming blogs for ages, but yours was the one that finally motivated me to do one. Got a painting comp for Dwarfs coming up so there will be more coming!

      Cheers,
