Battleboard 4 complete!

Just a quick update here, with a photo of the 4th Battlebaord for our group. This is the halfway mark. Very pleased that this is done, so now means that we will have one gaming table fully painted for the next gaming night. Also my youngest son Max helped paint this, so it was a nice bonding moment that wasn't at all spoiled by him painting the table as well ;)

Hope you like!

Dwarf Longbeards

I've been deciding what to paint for my Dwarfs as I believe I have most things covered, and I thought that its been awhile since I painted a regiment, and thought I might tackle the old metal Longbeards that I've had assembled and primed for about 6 or 7 years.

I must say, that these models are really nice, so much detail on them! I hope they won't be ditched when the new Dwarf models come out however I have an inkling they will be which is a shame. Just as well I got some more recently and perhaps before the release I may increase them to 40. These were a lot of fun to paint, and its really great to see all the gems and that these old Dwarfs have there priorities straight with all the drinking mugs aplenty.

I'm also painting up this unit for the Bugman's unit painting challenge, so that will give me some extra incentive to keep at them. Hope you like the look of them.

Love these models. Get them while you can!

Cheers!

Battleboard 3 complete!

Here I present in a very short post of the 3rd battleboard. My friend Cail has been very productive with the campaign map and tokens, so I thought it be only fair that pick up the slack and get some boards done. Here it is in all its glory and apologies for the bad photo.

Despite some imperfections I really like this board piece as my son Alec added some brush strokes to it as well. Not bad for a 3 year old! Will definately get him on the other board pieces as well.

Thanks for looking

Cheers!

Fuergil Firebeard - Lord Of Legend

Finished off a character for the Badlands campaign. His name is Fuergil Firebeard. I'm still thinking of his background, but I think either way it will involve flames and something extra spicy.

Anyways, here he is and I’m glad I finally managed to paint this Lord of Legend.

Still thinking of what to paint next, but either way it will be Dwarf related. Thanks for looking. Cheers.

Blood in the Badlands Campaign map painted!

Just like the title says, my friend Cail was very productive and managed to finish off the campaign map. Not only that he has also painted up some flags, so no more jellybeans for map counters (just eating!). I think you will agree he has done an amazing job. I especially like the river effects he used for the rivers. This map follows closely with the battlebaords I have been painting up as well. Guess I better get cracking!

Enjoy!
